18 Aug 4 Things You Didn’t Know About Vehicle Wraps
Wrapping a commercial vehicle, whether you’re just a one-man-band with a van or you’re a large organisation with a fleet of trucks, is going to be one of the best marketing decisions you’ll ever make! Why? Tens of thousands of people an hour see commercial vehicles on the road, it’s engaging, it’s cost effective, it helps create brand awareness – a vehicle wrap is the ultimate advertising opportunity for you and your brand!
Customers come to us every day with the same questions and concerns, so here are four things we get asked about a lot and that you might not have known about vehicle wraps, which also really makes them even more awesome…
#1 ANY VEHICLE CAN BE WRAPPED
We use high-quality vehicle wrap vinyl from the following manufacturers: Avery, Arlon, Hexis and 3M. All of the vinyls that we use for vehicle wraps can adhere to pretty much any smooth and clean surface, so this means we are able to wrap any vehicle you bring to us. We can design and cut any shape of wrap, there are no limitations regarding size or type. This includes smart cars, cars, vans, trucks, buses, taxis, motorhomes, trailers, tuk tuks… the list goes on! We can wrap an individual car/van, or a fleet of trucks/buses. We have a great team of talented wrappers who all have several years experience within the vehicle wrapping industry.
#2 WRAPPING PROTECTS YOUR PAINTWORK
I know, sounds a little too good to be true? But when your vehicle is covered in a vinyl wrap, it is then protected from chips and minor scratches. So when your wrap is removed, your vehicle is still in the same condition as it was the day that you got it wrapped. This can be very beneficial to you in the situation of selling your vehicle, as the bodywork is in much better condition than others on the market.
#3 VEHICLE WRAPS CAN BE ANY DESIGN YOU WANT
Imagination is your only limit when it comes to vinyl wrapping. We have a huge range of standard coloured vinyls and finishes available such as matt, gloss, chrome, carbon fibre, reflective etc… Not only this, but your design can be entirely unique and custom to you with a fully bespoke printed wrap. We offer a full design service at Digital Revolution so you can work with one of the designers to create your wrap.
#4 WRAPPING IS TEMPORARY
Unlike other methods which involve paint, vehicle wraps are temporary. When they are well cared for they can last for 3-5 years. However, if you want to remove them or change them before then, you can. You also have the option of changing just one section of the wrap, meaning it can be cheaper for you to update your design if you want to, for example, changing a phone number or a company logo.
